Stop Listening to Preachers (Part 1 of 2); Jeremiah 23:16-32
When we listen to preachers, we usually trust that their words are inspired by God and bring the truth of His message for us. In this first part of a two-part series, Doctor Gainey explains that it's important for us to recognize which preachers we should listen to and which ones—because their message isn't truly inspired by God—that we should walk away from and/or tune out.
Jeremiah 23:16a (NIV) ~ This is what the Lord Almighty says: “Do not listen to what the prophets are prophesying to you..."

What's the Matter with Anna?; Luke 2:36-40
Are you ready to answer God's call? Are you ready to serve Him whenever and however He desires? Doctor Gainey illustrates how God used Anna, one of the most unlikely people, to preach His truth with a profound and lasting effect on the world.
Luke 2:36-37 (NIV) ~ 36 There was also a prophet, Anna, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher. She was very old; she had lived with her husband seven years after her marriage, 37 and then was a widow until she was eighty-four. She never left the temple but worshiped night and day, fasting and praying.
Note: Due to a brief interruption in internet service during the live broadcast, today's sermon is split into two parts. We apologize for the inconvenience.
